Why the rate is higher than the wage
A guard paid ৳9,800 costs more than ৳9,800 a month. Two festival bonuses add about a sixth of basic. Somebody has to stand at the post on the guard's weekly off and leave days: that is the relief share, around one extra guard for every six. Uniform, supervision rounds and the office come on top, then your margin, then VAT on the whole bill.
